How do I aim with the rifle?
Yes i know how to use iron sights, but they are so ginormous in this game its so hard to tell where exactly the bullet is going to go. I've wasted SO much ammo trying to figure out how to aim with this thing and its frustrating.

No worries, they recently made the sights massive, so everyone's trying to adjust to the new sights.

Try aiming down about half the center of the bar, it's gotten me closer, but not quite.

I've had to aim 'high' from what I'd consider to be natural. Just have the top of the deer head visible above the front post.

That front post is about 3x thicker than it should be, its trash.

The front sight seem at least twice as big as the previous update. It also seems like they also increased how much fatigue messes with aiming. I couldn't get the iron sghts to wander anywhere close to the actual center of the screen unless fatigue was at least 25% full. It seemed like it used to briefly start out somewhere near the center, allowing you to get one quick shot off when crouched. Now it starts out high and to the left.

Old thread but I didn't find anything helpful here and thought I would share my technique. Put the very top edge of the front sight post at the head. I have shot from point blank to 50 yards with the front sight post at center mass (body) and have hit 1 out of 100 shots. The body doesn't register as consistently as the head.
