Character moving slowly?
I have 44lbs out of 77lbs possible.
Is this because I'm not feeding my character?
I tend to let them waste away until 10% before eating to last forever on Pilgrim.
I'm not crouching and I'm just kinda slowly walking, sometimes against the wind a little, but mostly, it's just always like this for the past ingame day.

Does your character slow down for any reason other then being overburdened or a sprained ankle?

Walking into wind or through strong sideways wind will slow you, so will being overly fatigued, or losing condition from other things. Sometimes it does seem to bug out, try crouching then standing again and moving right w away. Sometimes that seems to give you a rise/boost in speed, or fix the slow movement. And the more tired you are, the more your weight limit drops, so you get slower and more tired, carrying less. Check to be sure your weight limit has not changed and gone down.

I need to say that the Movement is a bit buggy. In my opinion its because of all the Mechanics that affect movement speed such as Weight, Wounds, Terrain, Weather and Obstacles. Manage your Weight between 35-40Kg or better 45-50Kg and walk like from Mystery Lake to Coastal Highway. Movement speed gets pretty unpredictable, beside walking over small Obstacles what make you walk fast even above 50Kg, only loading the Savefile again made it back to normal.

But most of the Time it works as it should and it can be confusing because there are so many things that affect Movement, the Game is called one of the best Survival Games for a reason :)

Sometimes the game thinks you're crouching when you're not or sometimes the game thinks you're aiming a rifle / drawing a bow when you're not and it slows you down. It really threw me off when I had to walk from camp office to Trapper's Homestead when the game thought I was aiming a bow. xD
I have 77 lbs of carry weight, not tired and not crouching. It just feels really slow walking, no matter what I am holding on my person. Dropped everthing into the trunk of a car and tried and there was little improvement.
So folks, looks like I fixed it by just exiting out and coming back into the game. :l

ive noticed, if when youre walking slowly, a quick crouch and stand seemed to fix my walking speed.
