Why do I keep finding so many dead people?

I came to a point where there are houses and little cabins where you can fish, on the way there was at least 3 corpses. I'm suposed to be lost in the wild but it looks like normal people just died there it seems too strange.

Maybe it's because of the lowest dificulty?

No, the human corpse and animal carcass spawns are random for each game, but occur on every difficulty level. The places where they may spawn is the same, but not all of them spawn in on every game.

Sometimes you will find many, sometimes not so many. Sometimes if you search the corpses thay will have loot, sometimes not. There may or may not be tools like knives or hatchets near bodies, sometimes small food itm ems like soda or granola bars or chocolate bars. Sometimes they have nothing at all.

It's normal to find them. Your next game they may not be there again, you may have corspes in toher locations. You always find more of just about everything on Pilgrim, and very little of anything on Interloper. But the dead guys are possible in all difficulty modes. A bit creepy, but they also can be used for storage. ;)

It's basically the apocalypse, they're be plenty of dead people. Freeze to death, illness, starvation, injuries from predators, suicide, most people would die quickly.

Thanks for clarifying, most of the times I don't find anything, sometimes I wish I could take their jackets and bagpacks so that I can get supplies of it or at least burn it on the fire.
