Red portion of stamina bar.

I'm pretty new to the game and i noticed that a small part my stamina bar turned red and i couldn't sprint much more. i thought it was tied to my condition level but it didn't seem to get any better even though i was at 100%. so i guess I'm just curious what it actully means.

That portion is red because the clothing you're wearing restricts your mobility. More/heavier clothing will make the red bar bigger. Keep in mind that doesn't effect stamina when climbing, so that's nice.

Yes as the others have said, My red bar is half of the bar, but I am walking around at near 25 degrees half the time. Its only when I am out for a long time in the Very Very bad Snow Storms that I drop down to Dangerous levels, Slow going sometimes though lol.
