Car Visors?

Has anyone ever found something from flipping these down?

I think they're like mailboxes, just to indicate that you've been there and no I've never seen anything in a mailbox or visor

Not me. I just flip them down after I loot the car to let me know there is nothing left to find. I'll pop hte hood (bonnet) after I loot the trunk, so I know the entire car or truck is empty. Gave up hoping to find anything hidden under the visors long ago. But who knows. Maybe they will add collectibles or something in the future.

You actually can find items in mailboxes. Not terribly common, but single rifle rounds at times, usually newsprint rolls.

I've only ever found newsprint in mailboxes, but never anything behind visors.

Same....mailboxes sometimes...visors never. Yet I dutifully flip every single one I've ever encountered.

hehe yea i did the other thing flipping hood for letting me know. But I am just waiting for the keys to the car to drop, and have the character say dam, batterys dead LOL.

But I did expect to find like paper notes or something in them.

Found a rope in the back of Matt's truck in DP.

Well, one of the original plans for a "well-being" system in the game involved a locket and a Polaroid photograph. That has been scrapped, and the devs are working on implementing another system (Cabin Fever being the first part of that, I believe). But back when the original was on the drawing board, it may have been that those visors may have been planned as places the photo may have been found. I keep a photo of my kids and another of all of us, husband, me and kids, tucked in my car's visors. Might be a place we may find one of the "Notes Left Behind" in the future, if any more have yet to be submitted by Kickstarter backers, or some other collectible item, or even a map or something.

I am honestly sure that one time I either found or saw on a YouTube vid a chocolate bar under a visor. But I’m beginning to think I imagined or it was dreaming.

I was just watching a video on Youtube about "The Mandella Effect" It is where you swear you have had avivid memory but it really never happened.
