FPS Counter Overlay
I've searched for the answer to my question but have not found it--please forgive me if this has been answered before.

How can I turn off the large yellow FPS display in the upper left corner? It's not the Steam in-game option, just one that shows in TLD. There's no setting in the game that I could find, and none of the Function keys toggled it.

I'd really appreciate help removing that display. Thanks in advance!

In steam, go to "view" in top Left, then go down to "settings" to pop up menu, and then go to "in-game". Hope this helps.

No, it's not the ´Steam in-game setting. I have that OFF but in this game (only TLD) is a bright yellow FPS counter in the corner that I cannot get rid of.

I have tried everything I can think of. There is no key I can find to toggle it.

It may be connected to your videocard and the settings set on it for this game, wierd. Might I suggest turning steams fps overlay on and starting the game up to see if you have Two showing, then turning steams off and restarting the game. Did you ever monkey around with the startup scripts? e.g. dx9, no border, multi screen....

No, I've never changed any game files. I've been playing since last year, but hadn't played since the game was released. I had some saves that couldn't be carried over, but I doubt that has anything to do with the problem.

I verified my local files. Rebooted my computer, and tried the steps you suggested but I'm still stuck with it :(

Do you run 'MSI Afterburner' in the background?
If so...turn it off and it should be gone ^^

No, I don't have that. I'm using some Asus management software though, so I turned it off and tried loading up the game. The FPS display remained.

It looks like the FRAPS fps counter, or overwolf from teamspeak
