Broken railroad area - how to exit?

Hi,

I am playing story mode and am stuck in broken railroad. I just can´t find a way to exit the area so that I can return to the trapper. Obviously I can´t get across the broken bridge, but otherwise I don´t find an exit. Can someone help, plz?

Go along the rails from the Broken Bridge.

Right. There's only one exit - to FM.
EDIT: Have you completed the mission in BR?

go down to right side, massive frozen spring like area you will see down there, a wolf roaming around. there is a fallen tree, on top of a small slope (towards the center of whole area), it is not far. you go across from that fallen-tree and from there you will be able to pass to next area.

If you're leaving Broken Railroad, you can actually climb right over the landslide and skip the river section with the fallen tree and the wolf. From the perspective of leaving BR, climb the landslide on the left edge and there's a series of short drops to safely return to the tracks on the other side.

Even going for Maintenance Shed you can climb over the landslide and avoid the fallen tree path.

And after safely navigating those drops, even with a full pack, you are walking along on the smooth and level ground and....
