Go up the boulders on the opposite side. I found the best spot for getting up was just a hair past the logs on the opposite side of them from the broken bridge. Once you're high enough up, you can circumvent your way around back to the main map. It's been a bit but I remember getting back to the main map somewhere around the Hunting Lodge I think it was.
Sorry, I don't have screenshots, did it on the XBone version, and the process of grabbing the shots from them to my PC, moving them to the Steam screenshots folder so I can upload them as screenshots and not artwork... more effort than I have energy for currently. But maybe do a Pilgrim run just to poke around the BR map a bit... there are a bunch of little hidden shortcuts and interesting climbs on the map that haven't been invisible walled off. Yet.
Cool!
I can't wait for Whiteberry to make a BR map.
No new Wihiteberry maps or updates to exisiting ones. I believe the Lady has other priorities for her free time right now. She did not make them for Hinteland, but on her own time as a fan of the game.
That someone will not be me, lol!
What do you think this is? A U.S. presidential election?
(ok, way off-topic but I say that w/o any good or bad feelings toward 21st century US elections)
I'm going to do a quick run and try to find this so-called "way out". But since the TLD forums are notorious for the rudest, vilest, set-you-up-to-die-with-bad-advice crowd I've ever experienced, I probably won't make it...
Alternatively, I think the game has a failsafe where if you physically exit the level and fall out of world you're teleported somewhere within the proper level again, and you can easily choose to go out of bounds once you're high enough up the opposite side of the ravine, but I didn't try that method so I've got no clue how viable that is for Broken Railroad.
