How to get dried intestines?

The game says you have to wait 5 days to have them dried but i waited large more than that and still not ready!

Curing takes place in certain locations called INSIDE. Inside includes many but not all buildings and the deeper spots of most caves and some less obvious locations.
When guts are dropped inside, they begin curing and will display a % cured number. They only cure out in the open. In your pack or in a drawer does not count.

On the floor in most buildings. To be sure any building that does a save as you enter. Except I don't know about the dam.

Yeah just select it and you should see a "Drop" button. Once it is on the floor, right click it to move it where you want it...or just leave it where it lies.

So if i put on floor in house or any shelter, will it work?

If you are a bit of an obsessed organizer you can also right clic an object in the floor (or anywhere else) and drag it with your cursor to the place where you want to drop it. Then either you cancel the movement or place the object on the targeted place.
