I'd love to hear from some people who can...
I have usually bow shot rabbits by the corraling method, herd them to an area where they have to turn and come back at me, and shoot as they come back. Snares are more effective for getting pelts, guts and meat. but bow shotting rabbits is good pricatice to get better skills with the bow.
But... it may become easier or harder after the new bow aiming system is interoduces, soon to come IIRC? Test Branch- new Sandbox Update?
Except for the standing up not being necessary at Level 5, that is pretty much what you have to do. As you get better, you can do it differently.
"...aim between the eyes, Joe, sometimes they charge when they're wounded... "
At this point, i'm positioning myself in the path of a rabbit so that it's hopping directly towards me. aim about 1-4 ft (depending on gradient) in front of the rabbit, stand up and fire. i was consistently over shooting but after 7-8 shots, i can hit a rabbit once in maybe 3 shots. it's time consuming and resource heavy, not recommended for long term survival, but an update is coming so i'll be losing this save anyway. It's good to know that some of the best in TLD are having difficulties killing these furry pests, it makes success sweeter.
