Deer in Mystery Lake

Im in Voyaguer mode in mystery lake, And in the 3 days I have played, I have found 1 deer, I went to Trappers cabin, to the camp office, to the lonely cabin, and for now found 1 deer. I replayed the same thing on pilgrim however, and found 5-6 deer neer Trapper's cabin. Where is the best place to find the deer? I looked everywhere and want to make the clothes as soon as possible.

They appear individually at several locations around the map but I think groups only appear at trappers the unnamed pond and out on the ice heading towards the lake cabins closest to the lake trail (I think it's northern access)

There's no guarantee though so you'll just have to hunt up what you can find

Make sure to skin the ravaged deer scattered around as well

Trappers Cabin is by far the best spot. Just go a bit over the ruined house and listen. There is a nice high level area to scan the horizon too.

Actaully, I usually see 2 - 3 deer at/path to the logging camp.

Between unnamed pond in the forest and the trapper's cabin. You have to look for them. After several days the will eventually come close to the trapper's cabin. If you are lucky you can find mr bear at the unamed pond :)

I always see herds of deer across the tracks from the camp office where you get rabbits too..
