I'm also interested in similar games, but both similar in vibes and/or gameplay — i mean modern on-rails-shooters, since it's a pretty rare genre nowadays (modern doesn't mean graphics).

This has a very similar style of gameplay and humor, and is arguably as good as Blue Estate. But, I'd personally recommend playing with the Point & Click option, like in classic HOTD.

I'd say it has the same vibes as Blue Estate. Much like Blue Estate, it had me chuckling at what was happening and what the characters were saying. I really do recommend giving it a chance when it's on sale.

I play both Blue Estate and Typing of the Dead Overkill with an Aim-Trak light gun. This is the way. No typing. And no point-click. This is as God intended. Amen.
