I DID try though. I am waiting to hear back from touchmote developer to see if he has any ideas to make two wiimotes work here.
I may have some solutions for this, but it will not happen SOON.
But, if you just want to do it differently, now you can.
I just tested this on the other rail shooter House of the dead overkill on PC (playable as a gun game through typing of the dead overkill).
The simple script I used there is:
IfWinActive, HOTD_NG
{
q::WheelDown
r::MButton
e::RButton
}
that is it. The q/r/e keys are gesture commands for your wiimote.
q = twist left
r = forward thrust or shake
e = twist right.
Anyways, yah so if any questions or such, let me know!
I found possible solutions to being able to recalibrate the sight using wiimote so that it can be set to precisely match where your wiimote aims. Actually I have four solutions and you do not have to buy anything :P
As you all know I use wiimoteoncod9.exe, BUT here is the list and I will post all the needed info later with script so you can do it yourself.
1) use Toid's wiimouse (easy to find and download) and use custom script with absolute mouse setting (its the default Windows cursor mouse) and set your keys or gestures according to your preference. You can add a button with a function to freeze the cursor in place while you line up your wiimote/wiimote + handgun/wiimote + zapper. Then make sure you have the right border settings so that the wiimote loses connection once it hits the screen windows border.
Sounds awful doesn't it? Do not worry, I will put it together for you in the next few days so you do not have to do any work.
2) use wiimoteoncod9.exe with autohotkey to make a scripted command bound to one of the keys on the wiimote or nunchuck that also freezes the position of the cursor (stops input) so that you can align the cursor with the rifle you are using so that it stays aiming where you point. This way you can always reset position if you feel it went off-alignment.
I will also put something together later to help you guys out who own wiimoteoncod9.exe.
3) Glovepie: use a simple absolute mouse setting with all input keys/gestures set in (NOT lednergs setting) and add a key input on your wiimote/nunchuck to freeze cursor so that you can align it. You can just use the nice script given by the developers above and edit it.
4) beg developers to add the ability to edit all inputs, add an input to be able to stop cursor for alignment and also to have influence over the cursors role once you pass /touch the screen borders. :D
I think one issue to make rail shooters more mainstream and loved is a standard solid enjoyable device/experience that is stupid friendly and does not require hard labor to make work.
Not everyone is a programming passionate enthusiast, and that doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to shoot things :D
Anyway I posted a totally awesome YouTube using a wiimote pistol replica and a glovepie script I butchered together.. see what you think, but to me this is the way to play Blue Estate!

The best sofware for wiimote/nunchuc/gamepad´s wii
Sin toshiba stack ni BlueSoleil, con windows 10 lo reconoce perfectamente. No hace falta Dolfin Emulator. Puedes usar los giroscopios y el IR. Totalmente configurable.
Debes guardar un perfil (script) y cargarlo cada vez que inicias el software.

Y tambien puedes probar con: PinnacleGameProfiler. Aunque el "spring mouse" no funciona como a mi me gustaria. Pero aun asi, es muy bueno.
Remember that usb can produce 5 V and 100 mA not more... so your resistor value should be :
5V - Vled / I(max)
let's say you have a led 1.4 V and 20 mA should do that:
5 - 1.4 V / 0.020 =180 Ohm min (220 Ohms resistor)

sorry if u mean railshoot its fine, but its drag aim not real aim.
2ndly, ive got a ton more experience working on this project and using the wiimote for other competitive things- fps namely, and the bar is mediocre. Im not going to sit here and explain all the details though right now :D
But, i'm a little disappointed that we can't do 2-player setup this way.
We can fool the game with 2 virtual XInput controllers, binding pointers as Rstick, but iit's not playable - we need same "absolute" setting for stick input to make it work
Speaking of "real" Wiimote lightgun - it's achievable with Touchmote custom fork by tsuokkis - it has calibration parameters in its INI file.
And removing crosshair mod was somewhere at Demulshooter forums.
So we can make it perfect
And we may need a simple glovepie script for mouse scrolls if you like weapon changing that way, as Touchmote can't handle scrolls :/

yes, well this isnt just a hardware/OS issue it is what the game will allow as well. Have you tried MAME emulated titles as well?
