How to advertise your server properly (Read this)

So you made a server? Congrats! Now you can advertise it in this forum. If you want your server to work properly, Make sure that you forward your ports properly. You need to port forward to allow others to connect. Unless it is hamachi/evolve, then you don't have to do this.

Tags that you must put in the title of your thread or in the main thread (the thread will be deleted if you dont tag it with these):

PVE/PVP
Hamachi/No Hamachi (or evolve)
Sync/No Sync/Bambi/Gold
Region you are in (US/EU/AU-any other continent

Once you put those in the thread title, just post it and wait for players to join.

Q-A's:

Q: Why did my server get deleted from the forum?!?
A: You most likely didn't tag it properly, or your post had a lot of profanity in it.

Q: Can you, nelson or any of the admins help me port forward?
A: No. It's incredibly easy to port forward and it takes less than 10 minutes with a google search.

Q: How do I get more people in my server?
A: If you are using hamachi, for instance; i'd suggest dropping that and port forward, not many people like to download things in order to connect.

Rules of hosting servers:

You cannot host *fake servers* which are: loading up the game into arena; saying it's 24/7 PEI PVP, spawn killing them and banning them. That is not tolerated and it IS bannable.

Posting IP's in announcements will get you a 1 day ban. If you do it again, it's a 3 dayer. If you continue to do it after that, 1 week.

I think you mods need to enforce this. 95% of the listing on this subforum is infoless and trash.

I'm trying to enforce it. We're also trying to get the *fake* servers out of here; ones that just set the map to arena and spawn kill you to get your gear

I think all servers who do not meet the requirements, ie map, sync/unsync, pvp/pve, etc should be instantly flagged for removal since those are usually the ones with spawn campers due to the fact that they're too scared to properly advertise the above three most important pieces of information.

Just added a new rule. Report server's that ban for killing the owner/killing anyone in PVP.

Tbh, Kitten has post loads of experience with bad server hosts, he has dem scars.
