Building a house (Things to use)

Well use barbed wire if you want it secure, or barbed wire fences, also wooden spikes, snares etc and also metal is the strongest building material, then it's brick (which has no roof or floor because who would have that, it'd collapse) then it's pine, then maple, then the least strongest is birch. So basically use metal or pine or brick. (pine is easy to get since it's wood) (brick is made of bricks of course, and it's stronger than pine less than metal obviously) (metal is some metal sheets probably, the best around) and also you need 4 pillars if you want a small house like a 1x1 (1 square with a roof and walls could be a garage) and 1 floor, 1 roof, 2 or 3 or 4 walls (depends if you want to be trapped in the house forever lol) and then you need 1 doorway and 1 door (metal locks things so only people in your group and you can access the door or shutters or trophy case or rifle rack) also I said 2 or 3 because one of the walls could be a window with shutters or not oh yeah and 1 window if you want a window (for windowed house, 1 window would be 2 walls, 1 window and 1 shutters, 2 windows would be 1 wall, 2 windows and 2 shutters) ok so you want a flat space or just place it anywhere, you can do this with more than 1 thing just double the recipe etc and also you can place them directly next to eachother, they clip on so you don't make a mess of it, so first, grab the floor and place it down on the space you choose and then get them 4 pillars or 8 pipes and then place them on each cornor of the house and then place them walls and windows (if you want windows) around the edges of the floor and it will work if you don't have the pillars it won't place since it wouldn't be supported. then if you have windows get your shutters and place them on the windows so people dont just jump in your windows and so you can open and close them, then get your doorway and place the door after that, then get your roof and place it ontop of the house and you're done! you can add some deffenses like barbed wire, barbed wire fences, snares, wooden spikes etc and also you could add a garage just change that to all walls and a garage frame and a garage door and then place your cars there and could store some stuff there, add a campfire on the outside for light and warmth if in Yukon or in a snowy place and to cook stuff and add some torches and gun racks and trophy cases and store stuff and expand your house! Pine IS better than maple!

It has changed now, I had seen it with maple being better, I thought it was wrong which it was so yeah pine IS better than maple

Build a metal house as it is strongest, you will be easily raided with others, if you're in singleplayer, just make it out of what you want, metal would be most expensive, and brick is harder to find, woods are easier to make as you just have to chop a few trees and you've got a massive base, I'd use metal door and metal wardrobes or lockers, as they are locked and no one can just walk in, or blow in through the metal door and have all your items in the crates or wooden wardrobes, and also metal is bigger, stronger and a bit easier now pickaxes and sledgehammers can mine rocks for metal.
