I'm not saying that people who download Aimbot/ESP's shouldn't be punished but permament bans are unjust in my opinion on this F2P game. Bans can range from 1 week to 1 month and can help correct player behaviour and teach them that hacking is wrong, versus completely removing them from a game that they most likely spent money supporting. (I'm a gold member). Other solutions include completely freezing characters in-place if they login into servers with any third party programs on.
Permament bans should only be given to repeat offenders and people who use hacks that are server breaking, that include flying and walking through walls, spawning items and etc. (Module hacks).
No!
Just move on and deal with it.
This is 100% your fault, regardless of the reasoning.
You guys are making it seem like a ESP on Unturned is a huge ordeal, if it was so malicious and game breaking then it wouldn't be widely available online for everyone to download for free. I think the punishment to the "crime" is too heavy handed.
People Speed and other people Drunk and Drive. Two completely different things. I don't think having a permanemt ban record on my 12 year old account on some F2P game available for free is justifiable at all.
Doesn't matter as both are still illegal. Hacking period is a serious offense, regardless of intent or quantity of reports
Hacking is a serious offence, downloading a free and widely available and known program that could easily pass as a mod and using it on a singleplayer or your own server is not "hacking". If I was DDOSSing the server, stealing source code or doing game breaking hacks then permament ban would be jusitifable, but as a player who simply downloaded something online and placed it into a folder to see what it was like is not deserving of a permament ban.
If anything I would want to just delete the game entirely from my library and have the ban removed. It is getting me black-listed on other servers in completely different games where I paid money for.
Quit standing up for them, they should be aware of the consequences but instead ignored it. Besides, the ban duration aren't managed by the dev but BattlEye, whom with no doubt will always make it permanent.
Hackers do get second chances they just make a new steam account and continue playing hacking or not. This is my main 12 year old steam account with over 60 games and now my integrity of a player is being questioned because of a stupid in-game ban from a F2P game.
I love Unturned but the consequences I have to deal with because I installed and tested a ESP for no more then 10 minutes resulting in a permanment ban and record on my profile is not cool.
