How to reset map in 3.x

I tried messing around a bit in the new canada map but I want to reset vehicles and the time of day. How do I do that? I've tried deleting the folder in regedit as in 2.x but that didn't work.

In 3.x, your save data is located in the actual steam directory for the game. You can find the game directory by right clicking on the game, clicking properties, then local files, and click the button labled 'browse local files'. From there your save data for each map can be found in the servers folder. Be aware that there's both a level save folder and a player safe folder for each map, so depending on what you want to reset you will have to delete one or both of those 'Canada' folders.

Hello ! Hope theres anybody still that can help me out there. I deleted my P.E.I map folder (The official P.E.I) and everytime i re-download the preview update it recovers the folder i deleted with all the same things on the player and on the map. What can i do ?

This might be late but try disabling Steam Cloud.

Thanks for the reply ! I have tried what you said and it keeps the same old game, doesnt lets me restart it ! Dang it i was hoping for this solution... Maybe if i disable steam security ? I dont know what else i can do

Gah ! I even used a guide that lets you delete the files from the cloud, did everything step by step but the resilient mofo still shows up and it doesnt wants to reset!

If you go into your steam settings and disable steam cloud then do as Thebobster said the game still looks like it did nothing.
But when you launch your game the character still has all his items but once you start the level save, everything gets reset :)

No mate, i went to my map folder, deleted the entire PEI Folder, went to steam and ran Unturned, PEI didnt show up. Loaded Unturned 2.0 and then Unturned 3.0. Before being able to play the 3.0 version, unturned re downloads the file, this used to simply re establish the PEI map with the map and player reseted. Now, even with the cloud off, it restores the PEI save as it was, map and player, i started the PEI map and i saw everything as it was, the player even has the experience i had. I also did delete the cloud files following a proceadure, step by step, which i followed carefully and the maps comes back with all the stuff i built and the player with the stats and items used to have.

Wow. That guy does not want to be deleted.
What you could do(This doesn't reload the vehicles) is spawn in a sledgehammer, break everything you built, kill yourself and reload the game. Next to good as new :S

If you are wanting to go and delete other players on your server's stuff go to Server--> Server Name----> Players. Once in that folder you can look up the ids or you can delete them all you may wanna tell your players you did that or they get angry trust me!

Before you had to go into a registry edit. Now you have to delete an accessable folder in the Unturned directory. It's SOOOOO hard now.

I totaly agree it used to be so much more easier but now it has gone to hell, the game has gotten way betteer in my opinion though! :D

What do you mean? I was agreeing with you that it is hard to clear server files. Nothing bad towards you.
