Any way to move items from crates to inventory faster?

I looked around and saw that CTRL was a key but that doesn't work anymore.

When I want to move between inventory and storage I hold control and then right-click the item and it swaps places to the topmost available inventory slot in the destination. I have no trick for moving all of one type of item though. Just one at a time, but at least control-right-click is faster than drag and drop.

Using control-left-click will drop it on the ground

Neither of these are working for me.
