How can I transfer my character and items from one single player world to another?

I have a few maps I downloaded from the market, and I want to use my character and items that I have in the default world with the new worlds. How do I do that?

You can't that was removed for balance.

Well that sucks. I understand that you shouldn't be able to do that for servers, but I don't feel like spending the time to get geared up so I can explore every time I download a new large map. I just want to explore.

well, if youre still looking for it, I found a way...

Go to steam, right click unturned, go to properties, local files, and browse the files. Go to worlds, singleplayer_0 ,players, the numbered file, and go to the world you want to take the stuff from (Mine is PEI). right click Players and copy the file. Now go back and look for the file you want to transfer the items to (Mine's yukon). Delete the Player's file there or just put it in the trash so you can get it (as a backup) and insert the file you copied. There you go! dont forget that this will also transfer the health and cloths you're wearing.
