How would I go about building a house with multiple floors?

I'm kind of a newb.

start with your foundation (turn logs into boards, boards into plates, plates into frames, 3 frames per foundation and however many foundations you want for the base of your house), you'll need to add pillars to the corners (craft sticks into a support and combine the supports with boards to make a pillar), then you place a platform on top of those pillars (platforms are wooden crosses made by crafting supports, and wooden plates together if i recall), you'll also need to make a way up to the second floor whether thats a ramp or a ladder, i find ladders to be easier and zombies cant climb ladders, a ladder is simply 9 sticks and some duct-tape.

Anyways place down a floor, four pillars, and then stairs or a ramp. You can then connect a roof to the stairs/ramp. The roof acts as the floor for your second floor.
