1. Go to 192.168.1.1 in a browser
2. Login with the default admin name and password
3. Click on Firewall Settings and press 'Yes' if it asks you to proceed
4. Click on 'Port Forwarding' in the left sidebar
5. Click the first dropdown and select 'specify IP' then type in your computer's IPv4 address
6. Click on 'Application to Forward' and select 'Custom Ports'
7. The next dropdown select 'Both'
8. Next to that type in the port numbet
9. Click 'Apply' and wait for the page to reload
10. The port should be successfully forwarded

OK HERE IS THE BEST SOLUTOIN FOR VERIZON USERS TO PORT FORWARD.
Note: Not all verizon internet settings look the same but everything is there - you might need to dig around to find what youre looking for.

1 Once you are in your verizon internet settings go to the Advanced tab

2 From there go to "Port Forwarding Rules"

3 Scroll down to the bottom and click "Add"

4 Make the service name something you can remember, such as "Unturned Server 1"

5 Click "Add Server Ports"

6 Select "UDP"

7 Set "Source Ports" to "Any"

8 Set "Destination Ports" to "Range"

9 For the range put "27016" and "27017"

10 Click "Apply" for both windows

Now on the "Port Forwarding Rules" page you should see <name> UDP Any -> 27017-27017

11 You can now click "Close"

12 Click on the "Firewall Settings" tab and click "Yes"

13 On the left click "Port Forwarding"

14 Under "Create new port forwarding rule" select your computer name - in cmd type ipconfig and make sure the ips are the same

you want to do this instead of "specific ip" becuase your computers ip can change, mine changes and im not sure if its from router resets.

15 on the next tab find the rule you named and click "Add"

16 at the bottom click "Apply" and "Resolve"

YOU ARE DONE!
