France: Hecate not spawning

Hello,

So I've been looting the two deadzones hardcore over the past week, to no avail. I must have accumulated over 15-20 hours of being in the deadzones going around the area countless times, every other gun that could spawn has spawned except this damned Hecate.

Is this supposed to happen? I've only seen one video of someone going out to look for it and he found it in under one hour... How low can the drop rate be? I was super excited about the shiny new big caliber rifle, but it doesn't spawn.

What has you guys' experience been about finding it (or trying to)?

Its very rare. Keep trying and you'll eventually find it.

Well two of my friends and I have a private server where we all accepted the quest to find a Hecate and give it to the guy who will upgrade it.

Tell me, the Hecate doesn't only spawn once you accept the quest does it? And it can spawn even if not everyone who accepted the quest is on the server at that moment can't it?

It can spawn regardless if you have the quest or not.

I think if I am right, It has like a 0.023% (an average) drop rate in a deadzone.
The guy that did it in 1 hour probarly used the id, dropped it there and continued his video.
or get his friend too.

If i spend more than like a few hrs trying to look for something, use the id to get it.
Also it may be an outdated client you have

I don't think my server is outdated since it runs the same version as my game, which is the latest at any time. Also, I did end up using the ID to get it because I was getting sick of it. Still very strange that it never spawned and just about all the other very rare weapons had dropped 3 times at least.
