Long time loading
Why does my Unturned take like 5 minutes to load(start-up load)? I have removed all workshop mods, though it might be that I have a lot of mods downloaded from servers.
Also it might be because I have lots of skins(mostly .03 skins).

It's for the mods, at least for me. If you notice, its all quite fast untill the last loading that is workshop assets.
Unfortunally those mods that you autodownload by joining servers can not be deleted (without issues) so it's probably that

So there is no way at all to remove them?

There is.
You just have to go in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\304930 and delete the whole thing but don't do it. It will work only if you play a true vanilla server.
If you try to connect a server that has a mod that your game autodownloaded but that you manually deleted, you won't able to join.

Also I just tested this before posting and I have to say that without any mods the game loads in 10 seconds for me xD

Would reinstalling the game help at all?

Why can't you rejoin the server? Wouldn't it redownload the mods?
And if not can't you just move those folders with mods and put them in the Unturned folder when you join a modded server?

No cus for the game you already got them by autodownload, and that passes through steam. If you delete those folders, you are manually doing it so the game still thinks that you got it, and wont download them again so you get a "missing -inisert content- error".

For your solution about moving stuff idk, cus if u move the folders while game is running idk if the game will read them.

I meant if I could do a backup of the folders somewhere else, and move it when necessary.
Plus isn't there any way to tell Steam that the folders are missing?

You can force it to check with verify cache, and he will restore all the missing files, including whatever you deleted👍

For the backup thing well yes u can place those mods somewhere else and put back when you know that you are joining a modded server, but if you got many of them like me its kinda hard to find the ones u need everytime and add them back.

By folders missing I mean mods. From what I know, the verify cache checks for vanilla folders only(default folders, not workshop).

Yes I understood that you was talking about mods.
And verify cache restores them
also :D

You can also delete mods from the workshop page. That's where I do it.

So when I want to join a modded server I gotta verify cache?

Well IF you are deleting them, you will need to verify cache to get them back but i suggest to jus leave things as they are unless you play vanilla only.

Or if you are a regular on a modded server that uses jus a few of them that you will keep. But if that server ads a mod that you are supposed to have and you don't, you'll get the error again.

It depends on what you up for...
For example even if I got a big loading time I keep them all cus I play lots of random servers.

I play on lots of random servers too.
Though most are unmodded(I kinda dislike mods). Though if my friends are obsessed of mods I have to join the servers.

Last weeks I played lots of tdm servers, sometimes with ww2 so those are lots of mods everytime.
I also like to try new rp servers when they have a costum map even if I never stay more then 1 hour cus they suck.
Just keep the mods and hope that this thing will be optimized sooner or later ^^
