New and Simple Modding Tutorial. from Models, Texturing, Exporting, To unity, and to Unturned

Modding is something I was always interested in, its like cooking, you put your own effort into a product that you like. but its hard to make that product when all of your ingredients are unlabeled and missing. If I could just get it right, it would be almost like a therapy, but I cant. there are too many tutorials that are scrambled all over the place in different time areas, with different techniques and challenges within themselves.

I originally wanted to start modding when I got the bright idea of making an unturned mod that allows the players to craft many types of explosives, firearms, and tools from vanilla items. I was so excited to start, and I got to installing the programs, exporting assets, and modeling objects. issues started to spring up with exporting. even though I followed the tutorials carefully, I found that I would always run into a problem with unity in one way or another. I think it would really help the community if a proper video tutorial series was created, Identifying aspects o how to make your own firearms, melee, craftables, explosives, etc.

Please take this into account, as I not only believe will this boost peoples dreams into becoming game developers, but it can also boost the community of unturned.

Hey a person from 2024 here, I also wanted to make a few mods and my own server for unturned! I came back to unturned 2yrs later, i started playing UNB (nation building RP) which had some very coool rules and setup , players fight in group as nations and gather alot of ♥♥♥♥ and wage huge wars etc....

I wnated to build a few mods like players can place huge structures on map like factories for thier nation which output x amount of guns for them or ammo ,

But man i got severealy disaapoined by how quickly this new idea can die out , the unb server is pretty much dead (until new season comes) and very few people are intrested in rp mechnism, its just filled with 7-9 yr olds wanna do "/kit frog" and kill like in GTA lolz , so nah ... i am dropping my idea saving my hours and watching anime with my gf
