Although, maybe it should be 200 for low cal and 100 for high cal. High cal is lower because they are only used by powerful guns with low ammo capacity
50Cal rounds are monstrous compared to desert eagle ones. and they share the same box. like. really strang.
It's also another way to nerf guns in terms of ammo management and acquirement.
Empty cans and separate ammo types that can be fed into.
Like, you combine the Desert Falcon ammo to an Empty can and make: Desert Falcon Ammo Box.
Like, Each type of ammo can be put on the empty metal cans and as of the size of each round type will determine the max amount of rounds it can carry.
one could either strip ammo from mags to the can or small cardboard boxes they come in from factory, and put them on empty ammo cans.
Oddly the cans are called "50cal Ammo Can".
So yeah Empty 50Cal Cans that can hold up to 100rds from grizzly ammo (which i believe being the largest ammo on the game) and up to 2000 9mm rounds (colt pistol).
one could have on its inventory a ammo can with timberwolf rounds something like 200 rounds would fit the can with lapua .338 rounds. and a load of pistol ammo w/o compromising inventory space.
