Just shoot them once, then go punch their body until they die.
I know it sounds a bit OP, but this will add a pack of realism to the game. I forgot to mention that you can resist a tranquilizer dart with the chemical resistance skill. If you do so, you must hold the interact button, regularly F, to resist. If you fail to do so, naptime for you.

As mentioned previously by Maxpowerammo, it is VERY overpowered. Knock somebody out and you basically get their loot instantly. Even if you try to think of countermeasures, such as blocking all damage when unconscious - which is a stupid idea, such suggestion will still be abused.
Sorry, but this is a terrible idea. One because it really doesn't fit the game style. Two because it's super overpowered. As you said about this strange "tap F to resist" would be useless as you could just whip out a gun and blast them as they're 'resisting' or just go ahead and smack them again with a tranq dart.
Also, what kind of hospital has a tranquilizer GUN?
Resisting by spamming a key doesn't help, your attacker won't need to spam a key to stay awake and thus has a huge advantage.

Balance is more important than realism, as well as the tranq dart being weird for others, but balance is what makes the game even and fun for all. Even if a zombie is Dovahkiin in disguise.
Just know that I want realism.
Aztec you're taking this way too seriously and personally. You probably think tranquilizing is OP AF. I also forgot to mention you must have the chemical resistance skill. If it has not been upgraded to 2 or more, as soon as you get shot, you're asleep. IF you have it 3 and more, you have a chance to resist it.
LEVEL 3 - Weak resisting. Very hard.
LEVEL 4 - Moderate resisting. Just difficult.
LEVEL 5 - Strong resisting. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Another reason I made this suggestion is that chemical resistance is only used for resisting zombies, which kinda makes sense, but when you said, "And what kind of hospital has a TRANQUILIZER GUN?!", this snapped me to know it was perfect. Because you know how there's a crazed patient NPC in Map Editor? And if the zombies were turning, they'd have to knock the zombies out to research. How the frick else are the zombies known as "Classic" "Sprinter" and "Crawler". And it would be useful for prisoners. So there ya go.

Of course I'm taking this seriously. Would you like me not to take your suggestions seriously? Because it's getting to that point with your suggestions recently.
This Idea I came up with myself, drew. And I know realism stonks and balance is more effecient. I get your point, but still. There's gotta be some way.

There is no need for this nor is there much of a benefit for adding a one-shot kill weapon like this.
