Makeshift Headlamp

I was thinking that if you have a flashlight & rope or something along the lines of rope you can make a makeshift handlamp because suprisingly headlamps are difficult to find. What do you guys think? Is this a good idea?

It's a good idea, but it won't work. This will make nvgs and headlamps useless on survival and also be way to easy to craft.
Nelson probably won't revamp the battery system with flashlights any time soon so no makeshift tac lights or headlamps will be happening for a while

Well NVGs and headlamps count as armor right? On servers with durability NVGs take damage when you are hit by zombies. What if they have a 50% degrade chance and degrade 50%? That would mean they can be broken in 1-4 hits, which would make sense for a flashlight only secured to your head with a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rope.

Perhaps with little engineering and cloth or two + tape + flashlight. I figure an engineer would know to take appart the lamp to make a makeshift headlamp.
Headlamps aren't that hard to make really when you know a thing or two about taking appart items. :D
