High Caliber Civilian Ammunition Box
A simple and realistic addition to the game. For the hawkhound, schofield, and maybe the makeshift rifles. 30 Bullets per box?

What kind of civilian grade gun would be high caliber. In fact, in real life "civilian" grade guns are not allowed to reach high caliber for obvious reasons.

300 win mag is a high cal bullet used in civilian guns. I'm pretty sure you can buy a Barrett 50cal. A 45cal is considered high cal (I think).

Still though, it would be considered a military grade rifle right? (the 50 cal)

But normal people can buy it soo... with that logic "almost" every weapon is military grade because guns were made for the military.

I'm actually having a hard time finding an answer with search bars for that but i did find out that since the Schofield is based off the Mosin that it's better off to leave it with its original ammo which is a 7.62x54R so that might be a civilian type of round cause the Mosin was used quite a bit during WW1 and WW2.

The difference is some military grade weapons that are sold to civilians are altered. Like for example the AR-15s there's two varients the civilan varient and the military varient one has full-auto the other doesn't.

Whoops, I meant to say "Almost every weapon" but I forgot to after I stopped typing to do something

Well back to the idea for unturned, it sounds useless and more of a pain than helpful.

Plus the only high-caliber grade type I've seen are the military rounds which from what I've seen only drop from Megas which seem to be a rare drop over everything else they drop.

It goes up to .700 Nitro Express, which is supposed to take down an elephant in one shot.

I support this idea but only if the Hawkhound and Schofield are buffed to kill with one headshot.

The Ace. It could be a 44 Magnum which has high calibre rounds.
