Development was sadly paused in may 2022. Probably wont return as he plans on implementing most features from Unturned 2 back into Unturned 1.

62 In game Not a single living player On an actually good server? There is no Unturned servers Im trying to find a good full vanilla 2 week wipe server but it doesnt exist. Even Russia which used to have a lot of vanilla servers there is none

i play on latin american servers and in the past 2022 they where full of people and i mean full, now its a bit empty

Unturned 2 is on hold indefinitely while Nelson receives support for some resurfaced issues, he also intends to perfect Unturned first by implimenting QOL changes and ideas meant for Unturned 2 before thinking about making a new game.

I hope so. As much as I love Unturned 1 from what I've sen of unturned 2 it seems like night and day difference. I know he wants to port all the features back to unturned 1 but I really think that's a bad idea. Alot of these QOL features are made possible by the unreal engine. Unturned 1 already pushes Unity to its limits which is why its so buggy and unoptimized. Unturned 2 just looks so much better. That's the point of a sequel to get elements from the original and improve upon them or change them up. Not change up the original.

yea... this game is super dead, most of the losers that "play" just rot alone in singleplayer like an antisocial loser, its literally not even fun... and then if u go on multiplayer servers its just a bunch of no life tryhard phaggots killing freshspawns n ♥♥♥♥ thinking they are good at the game or some ♥♥♥♥. no matter how you look at, just a bunch of losers playing this ♥♥♥♥ game, horrible rendering, toxic and entitled community, no updates, vehicle physics are still complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and unfixed after 9 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years somehow, not challenging, the only challenging aspect is pvp, but you have to be a complete loser and have no life in order to get good and actually try to enjoy it, base game is TRASH, no new content into the base game, the only thing exciting about this game is mods, which have definitely improved, but no servers that have people, a good map, not laggy as ♥♥♥♥, and dont have abusive 14 year old admins. once in a blue moon a decent server will pop up with lots of people and good mods, and it keeps updating, and expanding, but those days are pretty much all gone.

if you played in 2015 - 2017 that was the golden age of unturned, sadly which is part of the process of moving on and growing up.
I do truly hope there is another game similar to this that other kids can play and have fun. i feel like a sad old man talking about it, but ig its all part of the process
