What is Combat Logging?

Last night I was on a PvP server (Empower gaming, to be exact) and there was this guy raging about someone "Combat logging". Unfortunately, I couldn't ask what because my game crashed for some reason. What is "Combat Logging"?

People do it all the time, get shot once in the head and they just dc so they dont blled to death

True that, people loved to escape when they were attacked. Nelson added the delay to make it fair.

still happens a simple alt f4 is all it takes, now what would be nice if somebody presses alt f4 while in combat, it would delete their items and give them a short kick of 5 mins.

There is a rocket plugin in now for punishing combat loggers. But it just needs what dayz does, where the character stays in the server for 30 seconds after logout

The delay time is annoying IMP. I don't combat log.
