Does Unturned lie about player numbers...?
SteamCharts says 13500 online, but Battlemetrics shows only 1600 players in servers...

So you want me to believe that 7.5x more players are on SP than on Multiplayer... on a game that is a decade old...

get you calculator add all the players from the most played servers until you get servers with 7 players... the playercount is 800 players this game dead af unfortunately nelson should just sell this game to other people

The singleplayer theory is likely, games like this tend to be a nightmare to find a good server. The map size isn't big enough to sustain any active conflict for long periods of time. From experience on a vanilla server we could wipe out every player within the matter of an hour if we were on first to grab the gear needed. Nelson knows this, this is why he no longer works on the game and instead ships curated maps to avoid making anything worth while. He hasn't retired from game development he has gotten complacent because he made a game people like. A common issue with indie developers actually besides the annoying ones that abandon projects to work on other projects.
