But anyways, yes, police gear is MUCH better than military gear. They have a bigger inventory space, but military helmet and vest has more damage resistance than the police counterpart (e.g. Military vests's -30% damage resistance compared to police vests's 20% damage resistance).
However, because resistance barely matters in gun fights since you'll die anyway, I would choose police gear. Also note that the military shirt and pants have the same resistance as police/RCMP, so it's better to wear police/RCMP.
I use the honey for close up combat but I turned my maplestrike into a sniper rifle.
if you add adaptive chambering on the maplestrike and a silencer it's the same
The military helmet is still usefull however. as the police cap doesn't add +Storage
Military gear can also mean you surviving a sniper if your quick enough to pull out your bandage
Most of the better end military stuff is less common too and sometimes, giants can spawn at military locations, which means you have a chance to get good stuff, at the cost of diffculty.
