how do i lock a chest/crate/locker?

you need to make the wooden logs you get from the trees into planks using a saw, and ( i think) you need a hammer to make the crate.

wooden create can't lock
only metal door/locker can lock and only yourself and group members can open it

You CAN'T lock WOODEN crates, only metal lockers which auto lock.

Metal doors only.

Any object made of wood (door, storage) can be opened by anyone.

This thread's over a year old, bud. But to answer your question: You can't. Kick them from your group if you don't enjoy them being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
