How to pick up bedroll?

I place my bedroll but i found a better house for my base, how can I pick it up now? I can only claim it.

You can't, once you place it, it stays there. Kind of dumb i know :b

I thought I can sleep in a big white house. The only way up is a ladder - safe. But the zom can glitch into the "slank floor"? and killed me.
