no third parties?
hello everyone i had a question involving third party server software, see i used to use hamachii to play unturned because there were no dedicated steam servers for unturned and i was wondering if that has changed because it was still in beta when i last played but i no longer trust hamachii because it exposed my IP aqnd got my old PC hacked so i was just wondering if i can play unturned again with no third party, any answers will be appreciated

Private servers are just passworded ones, there are some guides that teach you how to make one.

I will say that, for me personally, Hamachi is still a requirement to host a private server from my computer. While the server, itself, is run through my computer, I have to use Hamachi for my friends to connect.

are there any that don't involve exposing my IP?

Exposing your... Dude. They don't expose your ip. Heck, they don't even USE your ip.

Your ip BEING exposed wouldn't even be an issue, it would only be an issue if they get two things: An ip, AND an open port.

that was the issue i left hamachi open and didn't close the program for a few days and it left my ip open so my friends could connect but the server was vacant aside from me for a few days and a couple days afterward we found out we were remotely hacked and had to wipe the hard drive so im trying to find something that is slightly more secure than hamachi lol

It wasn't your ip. The way hamachi works, is it automatically opens a port and gives it a new ip, within an almost fake LAN server, in other words, it emulates a VPN server.
