Camp Axe or Fire Axe?

I don't know which one to use in my Unturned game, I feel that they both have different properties like the Camp Axe breaks quicker or the Camp Axe is lighter, etc. My personal favourite is the Camp Axe, which is your favourite let me know if they are the same or different

I think the Fire Axe is better. It has longer range so it's better for hitting zombies, but other than that they are the same damage and the time between hits I think is the same...

Fire axe, longer range, and can cut down trees faster.

I try to avoid fireaxes on PvP servers because its like a beacon with the colours.

Unless you have actually tested that it can cut trees down faster theres no real evidence that can suppport your anwser, although I'm pretty sure Fire Axe has longer range so your correct on that one

I also think Nelson should let player craft a camp axe as all really needs are wood and stone, but this wouldn't be accesible until nelson has added stone to 3.0

It Fire Axe does more damage than Lumber Axe.
This increases the chopping rate but its only noticable when you upgrade.

I don't really think they would do different damage as that would mean the camp axe would be useless and shouldn't be in the game if thats the case.

There is also the chainsaw so having no axe wouldn't really make a difference, except in fighting.

Okay so the cainsaw is noisey, and you probally wont find it till later. You need to make a fort, there's a Lumber axe, or your fists.

It should be in the game; this is a survival game, you cant always have what you want. Sometime you have to make do with lesser items.

If your going for wood, its the camp axe, it chops a pine tree down at 16.666% per swing(or 6 swings).
The fire axe is a very common axe, but only cuts a pine at 8 swings (or 12.5%/swing)

For wood, you prefer the camp axe.

Now for damage, the camp axe would be the best for Beserking, going at 1.1 at the head, 0.6 at the spine (torso),0.3 for the arm and leg.

There was no damage shown for the fire axe.
