bulid your base in the sky and last bulid it from wood but bulid aLOT ALOT ALOT Of walls cuz metal hp is 1k wood 500 but wood izi to get metal take years to get and ofc bulid alot of doors so you can pass your walls iz but they cant
However, if you choose not to do this, I recommend a window sniping level and a roof sniping level. You also need a heavily defended ground level. Spikes, barbs, no windows, metal door, metal walls if you can is the way to go. This level doesn't need to be big.
Put your bed in the ground level and anything you wish to store. Build a ladder or staircase up to the second level, preferably a staircase (if someone infiltrates your base you are an easy target on a ladder). Wall this staircase in and chuck a metal door on it. This way, if someone infiltrates your base, they can't get at your bed, which is what matters. Do the same thing for the roof level. Good luck!
Its easier to have gold accounts, if you have multiple characters and there is a home command you can place one bedroll in and one out. And keep a character logged off outside house so he can place a bedroll. And keep one character logged off from in the base. That way no one is stuck forever because the outside characters can claim a bedroll if necessary.
this is pretty much the best base you can build
