HELP. ANALOG OUT OF RANGE.

Hello, my brother recently started playing Unturned. We got in-game with ease but when he turned up the settings to Fullscreen, the monitor went black and said that it is out of range...

99.4 Khz/ 60 Hz

Can't readjust the settings ingame and we're stuck in the black screen when we try to run it. Can somebody please help. :(

This happens when your screen resolution is set to something higher than what your monitor can display. For example, if your monitor supports resolutions of up to 1024x768 and your video card allows you to crank it up to 1600x1200, doing so will give you an error. Another reason you might get the error is if the refresh rate you selected a certain resolution is higher than what your monitor supports. The monitor can't "sync" with the video card, so it just gives you that "Out of Range" error.

I would lower the resolution or play without fullscreen

Well, he can't adjust the settings in-game. I've just tried browsing the files for some type of config.ini to change video settings... but can't seem to spot any. Your best bet is to try to force windowed mode by either alt+enter while you're in that black screen, or add -w to your launch option parameters.

You can delete the config file which is in the windows registry. More info here
