Stop looking in towns and farms and look in police and military areas

There's a bunch of guns that generally spawn in Aberton(?), it's on a lake near the military camp.

Army base is not a good spot for guns. Though it is if you want high end guns, but the spawn rates are lower. I would loot the farms as I usually get double barrles from the farms other wise just loot the normal towns. Police stations are great.

Yes on the road from milibase there is a turn off just keep going straight

Military base and the airport is the best place to check.
