I Cant catch fish?

So i am only just getting back into the game and im trying to catch fish but i wont get them. i click when the bubbles appear but then i dont get anything help please?

ive also got my fishing skill maxed out

you need to wait till the bubbles apear, when you hear the noise , left click (default) to reel the line in. a fish should appear in your inventory afterward.

thats the thing i do wait till they appear and i left click but after that i dont have any fish in my inventory

When i fish, i had that same problem. When the bubbles appear, dont click instantly. Wait till the bobber on your line goes under the water quickly then reel it in.
