Using alt+tab during the loading process crashes the game

that happens in a lot of games. If its enough of an issue for you, running the game in windowed borderless would probably fix that.

fullscreened games do NOT like to be alt tabbed out of. Not exclusive to unturned. Doing this while the game is attempting to load will do a lot of stuff.

in general games are sensitive during saving or loading.

i fixed it, alot of games tend to crash alot/all the time when i use RTSS, an FPS monitor i have... and unturned is one of them

do not listen to "isabelle" as what they say is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I alt tab 20 times a minute while playing fullscreen games and nothing happens. Windowed fullscreen/borderless causes immense input lag and it makes the game unbearable (any game really). Also such issue heavily relies on what YOU have done to your general computer/monitor settings so we can't help you without enough context

I thought you could mark your own post as an answer, that's weird.

Anyway, if an FPS monitor is crashing your games, i'd just get rid of it and enable the in-game FPS counter from steam settings. It runs alongside steam shift+tab menu so it shouldnt affect performance at all and still remain accurate
