The map is also fairly small once you get to know the handful of locations. You can find an in-game map that displays your own location (and MAYBE steam grouped friends?) this will help you learn the map MUCH faster.
The main road goes through almost (every?) major location and is nearly a complete circle.
the town names are, littleton, gaston, boaton and newton.
jerk... lol
but like they said, look ath the out of game map (you can actualy found one ingame, but it's just as rare as a gun) try to locate points of interrest, like where is the city, is there something unique, is there a sign...to help you here are my hints:
-Alberton: dock with a boat, T shape road. on the inner sea side (you can see the other side of the map). you are on the west of the map.
-Charlotte town: dock with only containers, double T shape road, outer sea side, one camping on the right, two farms on the left: you are on the south of the map.
-Montague: military tent at the entry, water tower, flat land, road goes to a beach (west)
belfast airport (north) to a golf terrain (south east) to charlotte town (south west)
-Belfast airport: avoid without guns. north east.
-Burywood/Military base: north west. military base's road leads to alberton (south) turns to burywood (east). burywood is the only city with a road barrage and a watch tower.
what the hell are you smokin'? those are awful names. You can't even immediately tell which one is which just by the name.
?
littleton - the small town with no distinguishing features other than being small
boaton - the town with the huge boat docked at it
gaston - originally the only spot with a gas station until the new town arrived
newton - the new town (may have to be renamed waffleton if another city is ever added)
Why make up names when the places already have names?

They may be "stupid" names, but they're the names that we all know (and what are shown on the ingame map.
Cheers,
Ghost
I can't even remember if that was an option back when this thread was made... it got a pretty sweet necro bump by mettaton just now.
EDIT: based on my suggestion from a year an a half ago above... I guess it was
yeah that was a pretty sweet necro.
