Setting up a server or dedicated server guide!
Simple steps you should follow with no problem.

Part 1. Setting up a static ip address.
1. Go to run using windows key and "r"
2. Type in cmd and hit enter
3. Black prompt comes up type in ipconfig, hit enter
4.list of information should come up, identify and write down the following:
IPv4 Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway.
5. Open up your web browser and type "192.168.1.1" into the web bar at the top.
6. It should take you to your router's interface. Log in with the default user and password for your router. If you do not know this use this link to help you identify your default user and passwords.

http://portforward.com/default_username_password/

7. Once you log in click the status, or system monitering tab to the far right.
8. Look for your dns servers there might be 1,2,3 just write at least 1 down.
9. After you write it down go to control panel, click on view network status and tasks under Network and Internet. Click on Change adapter settings to the left.
10. Right click on your internet connection and click properties
11.Click Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4), then properties.
12. Click on use the following ip address and fill in your information you have. IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, DNS servers.
13. For your ip address make sure to change the last number. For example if your ip was 192.168.1.4, I would change it to something like 192.168.1.46 or 192.168.1.41. Click ok.
14. To check if you filled in your info, open web browser and go to a webpage. If it works you have your static ip, if not you probably filled in the DNS servers wrong!

Part 2. Port Fowarding.
1. Go to your router's interface at 192.168.1.1 again.
2. Click on Firewall settings after loggin in, click yes.
3. Click on port fowarding link on the left.
4. Where it says Create new port fowarding rule, select "Specify IP" and type in your STATIC IP.
5. Where it says application to foward, select custom ports.
6.For TCP and UDP select both.
7.Type in the port you want on the right, default for unturned is 25444.
8. Most port checkers don't work so if you need to check it get a friend on, if it works great, if it says timed out you probably did something wrong so go through the steps again!

Part 3. Setting up a dedicated Server.
Once you get your server up and running you probably realized that you must be connected to it for the server to run and this is boring and tiring so hosting a dedicated server is the best thing to do since it allows the server to continue running on its own while you can play unturned on other servers and go afk.

1. Open up the files folder and head to program filesx86(86x). Steam, steamapps, common, unturned,
2. Right click on the unturned application and create a shortcut.
3. Drag the shortcut to your desktop or somewhere easily accessible
4. Open up your steam library and right click on unturned, click properties.
5. In the General tab click set launch options... Here are the options.

Map:
-arena
-pei

Gamemode:
-bambi
-normal
-hardcore
-gold

Sync Setting:
-sync
-nosync

PVP/PVE Setting:
-pvp
-pve

Misc:
-pass:[PASSWORD]
-port:[PORT NUMBER]
-players:[PLAYER MAX]
-nographics
-sv

Here are the ones I use to host a PEI SERVER.

-pei -normal -nosync -pvp -port:25444 -players:10 -sv -nographics
I recommend getting nographics since its a sure way to check if what you did is right. With no graphics the screen will go black after launching from Steam. After launching from steam, launch unturned from the shortcut you created earlier. Now you can play on the shortcut while the unturned from steam runs the server! Congrats you have hosted a dedicated Server. Thanks for your time.
