Ram usage?
Is it normal for unturned to use 7.5 Gs of Ram? Do mods add to this?

Do you have vsync off?
TheGentleman May 4, 2016 @ 9:09am
Nope, would that help?

You need vsync on, it is a frame limiter.

Does that mean VSync is a GOOD thing? I always thought it just caused lag :steamfacepalm:

VSync limits the frame rate to 60fps or the refresh rate of the monitor. Most monitors are locked at a 60hz which is 60fps. The game can run at 100fps, but on a 60hz monitor you will only be able to see 60fps of that 100fps. So there is not really a point for your computer to render more then 60fps unless you suffer from stutter it can help a bit.

The low fps might be a memory leak caused by the recent update a few other people were having this problem. So it should be patched soon.

Today I installed this game for the first time and tried to start the german map. Unturned continued to load forever while eating up my whole RAM (8GB) until the whole system was not responding anymore. Known issue? BTW I'm running Steam on Linux, resolution 2560x1600, fullscreen off, vsync off.

update: I tried to load this map with very low settings - the same issue. On the other hand, other maps load fine even at high resolution.

I have this issue as well. I'm running Win7, 12gb of ram. It eats through it like a fat kid at a candy store.
