Reinforcing a base
I made a base and my friend and I thought that it would be a good idea to put a metal sheet or a wood plate against every wall. We originally did it so people couldn't look in but is it a good way to reinforce a base

I think it will only work if someone is trying to break ur walls down with a gun or a meter weapon because explosives are AOE and will most probably break both walls and sheet/plate at once
Also I wooden plates are really weak I made a wall with large pine plates and it did nothing to stop the attackers from entering and raiding my base.
I feel that instead of relying on walls to make ur base strong, try to make a base is hard to reach and easily defendable places

How about we make it hard to find and easy to defend and reinforce it? then its just op... throw a generator down with a couple oil derricks and one filling of gas goes into the generator, BOOM! unlimited fuel!
And i also forgot make your base atleast 3x3x1 and if you are on yukon anywhere (or any snowy area) or a beach or hill take out the middle floor and put the oil derricks inside your base!

Yeah, no matter that you place plates behind/in front of the walls, cause explosions will blow everything at once.
