Why is my radiation lowering gradually?

In Unturned (Hard difficulty), and I'm in a pretty bad state (always hungry, thirsty, and low on radiation. I have noticed that spite being fine, my radiation meter continues to go down. Why is this?

I have noticed the same thing but im playing on Normal and my food and water are full.

op doesn't know about having to actually take care of Infectious wounds otherwise they get worse

have been searching for meds and takes tablets, cough syrup, and whatever i can find and it never stops

Try Antibiotics it seemed to fix my problem

thats not a bug, when you are under ~50% of radiation, your radiation lowering gradually.
