Nelson actually has hinted at official servers, but like you said he has also said he will never do them. Kind of like tanks and miniguns its a controversy.

This game is Early Access for PC and gets updated regularly. And he's one dev who may not have knowledge of how console games can be programmed.

With Nelsons coding the gane will run at 15 fps for xbox low graphics. He will need then to work for updates weekly on pc and consoles, witch will be loads more work, and how are controlls going to work?

This game is still in early access, and rightly so with it's ♥♥♥♥ optimization. When Nelson fixes his ♥♥♥♥ is when this question should be raised.

When the paintball arena came out nelson had an official server for it I don't know if its still up.

I would like to see someone try to port this to XBOX One. That would be so hard for one person to do.
