Ah there it is :) it lasts 22 hours if its full, and you need 32 gas cans to fill it up :D
Erm what do you mean? :p
Was kind of surprised by how accepting people were to the idea.
As said before, ammo would be the main concern with sentries, espeically if you are not sporting guns with good ammo supplies; followed by the defense of the generator.
Also, I'm kind of biased, having played Team Fortress Classic for quite awhile, mostly as the Engineer, when it was popular, and knowing how vulnerable stationary gun bots are versus a determined human.
If anything, my thread on the topic showed that there is a bias in regards to ideas, based partly on presentation (and other factors).
What I got out of it was that maybe I was wrong before on shooting down the idea, and that once again, people aren't as logical in their arguments as they think themselves to be.
(really, I've seen that demonstrated many times and I still make that damn mistake in thinking I'm somehow rational and unbiased)
So in short, no one really knows for sure, but based on other things that are currently equally as broken, some system that kept things powered up 24/7 is by far not the worst thing that could be done to the game.
