The Lack of players on hardmode

I kinda find it sad that every hardcore mode server i look for its empty...
I am a really hard core unturned player mostly can enjoy unturned on hardmode normal barely easy mode no enjoyment there i just wish there was enough players to play on a hardmode server with me for pvp i mean shet theres barely any hardmode server out there first of all ... u ppl scared or somthing?

It's logical to say that noone wants to hang out alot in hard mode servers due to difficulty combined with the server latency. For me I only do it for the challenge/boredom

most people stick to normal since its overall balanced
hardmode is more of a test to see who gets there first. Even then its no gurantee that you'll survive well enough than the next guy to get good gear

Right. There aren't enough bullets spawned into Hard mode to make ranged attacks sustainable.

There is less ammo in hard mode than in normal mode, and of course the zombies are tougher, making most head shots not be a one bit kill.

I'd hate to imagine trying to work with a crossbow and manage a crap load of arrows, just to get anywhere in a laggy hard mode server.

hardmode is very hard (obviously) but its a good challenge and in my opinion less realistic than normal

Hello I feel the same way about hard mode and so i launched 4 hard servers

HARD PvE 2xItems TPA KIT IP: 45.50.30.55
05) 2035 PEI
06) 2045 Russia
07) 2065 Washington
08) 2075 Yukon

Been trying to fine tune them so ppl will enjoy them more. Increase item spawns, allowed players to keep their inventory upon death, and some other tweaks.

Try'em out; message me in my group and ill join when i can. Got a few other friends that will join as well.

Also had'em set to pvp but less ppl seemed to join. I'd like to switchem back to a friendly pvp (for accidental friendly fire) but quite a few ppl join and just shoot up the place so prob not gonna happen

i cringe erevytime i see someone use them and it becomes impossible for me to take them seriousely

also if your gonna use them atleast use them correctly as that steam emoticon made 0 sense

I honestly wish there were better Steam emotes, and free ones... not near useless ones, with a few good ones, locked away via some kind of badge achievement.

And this is coming from someone that uses them to try to put a reasonable amount of tone of voice in otherwise toneless text.

Yeah, what is the point of having hard mode if you add in kits, let alone 2x item kits?

Thats too bad shoulda tried it out. Like i said ive been fine tuning it. theres more to it than those few words.

In order to get the "scared" players interest. Have you tried the server? My hard settings are harder than the normal hard mode. try it out adn let me kno what you think. You still lose whatever guns you got in hand.

You should see if you can change some of the damage multipliers for the head and maybe the rest of the body. Make it a tad easier for head shots to be one-hit kills, but toughen up the rest of the body to keep aiming as something vital. If someone panics and 'sprays and prays', they'd either use up a lot of valuable ammo, or die... which is fitting for Hard mode.
