How do I reset my server/character?

I tried un-installing and re-installing the game but apparently that doesn't work.

WARNING: DON'T HAVE UNTURNED OPEN WHILE DOING THIS!

1. Search for "Regedit"
2. Open it up.
3. Go under HKEY_CURRENT_USER and then Software.
4. Find "Smartly Dressed Games", then click onto the drop-down arrow and select "Unturned".
5. Delete everything
6. You can now close Regedit.exe and proceed to Steam.
7. Try playing the game. If it works, then wohoo! If it doesn't, proceed to 8.
8. Go to your Steam library, right click on Unturned and select "Properties".
9. Select "Local Files" and then press the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"; it should start doing some stuffs.
10;1. This tutorial has worked for you!
10.2. This tutorial didn't work and it ♥♥♥♥ed your Unturned up. Try deleting everything that was in regedit.exe's Unturned folder and reinstall Unturned afterwards.
It should be resetted now.

It's an early access game. If you follow the instructions it will take you less than a minute, though I suggest you take your time so you don't screw it up.

It worked. I understand this is Early Access, do you understand that is not an excuse? I mainly play Early Access games and i've never had deleting a save file be this overcomplicated.

again, early access. this game is going to be over complicated considering how long its been out. Nelson is working on changing over the saves to Steam. he's working on it. just give him time.

In this games current state, that is how you reset your data.

"If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you may want to wait until the game progresses further in development." (from store page)

Anyways, you got it working, happy surviving!

Are you sure you don't just right click the game from yor library and then click "Delete local game content"?
